Recent update, the tower battlements and ladders.
Here are photos of the progress on the Ancient Jerusalem wall set. I have been working on the tower and the gate; the basic parts are done for the gate. I printed a copy in black and white first, without the texture and color added, to check and make sure everything fits well. I did the same for the tower. I am now finishing the assembling of the final model of the tower, taking photos as I assemble it for the assembly instructions. What is shown in this photo is not complete yet as I still need to build a few parts. I took this photo to be able to see how all the different elements of the wall will look when assembled together. There will be a tower on both sides of the gate. Next, I will write the assembly instructions for the tower, which will include photos. This part usually takes a while as I need to make sure each step is presented correctly.

Here a new project I have started to work on. It’s an addition to the Bible MiniWorld series, a series of walls, a gate, and a tower. These can be used in a diorama setting or a display to show the fortification of a city, such as Jerusalem. Many cities in Bible times had defensive walls built around them, so I thought it would be a nice addition to the other sets to be able to create a small city or part of Jerusalem. Here is the first set, 2 walls sections. Additional sections can be printed to form a longer wall. I am presently working on a gate and a higher tower. I gained ideas from photos of a model in Jerusalem of the ancient city of Jerusalem. This first set includes two soldiers, temple guards. It is available to download on my Etsy store, here: https://www.etsy.com/fr/listing/1204927107/bible-miniworld-ancient-jerusalem-wall?click_key=90257de609f8b9d43e92395a6a8cad6d45de691e%3A1204927107&click_sum=a1c45112&ref=shop_home_feat_4 |
